ANAMIKA DEB
Multimedia Artist & Scenographer
Anamika Deb is a Multimedia artist and scenographer currently based in Montreal.
Her work explores the intricate relationship between humans and the spaces they inhabit. Her practice is centered on deconstructing this relationship and discovering new ways for world-building that go beyond the conventional 3D notion of a place. Her work aims to challenge viewers' perspective and their own influence on the space.
Deb's practice encompasses a wide range of mediums, including interactive and immersive audiovisual art, generative-computational art, virtual world reconstruction augmented reality, set design, and large-scale public sculptural art. "Neural Terrain," one of Deb's recent works, was showcased at the Glitch Cinema Festival in Zagreb, Croatia, in 2022.
